Export

We specialise in the sale of motor vehicles from the Netherlands. On this page, you will find all the important information about buying and exporting vehicles abroad, both within and outside the European Union.

Export to EU countries


What you need:

  • A valid identity document (passport or ID card)
  • Foreign residential address (proof required, such as a bank payment in name)
  • For business customers: valid VAT number

Transport & export:

  • Motorhero does not offer transport services
  • You arrange the transport yourself

Registration & license plate:

  • Vehicles are delivered with an OREH registration document (Export declaration)
  • You register the vehicle yourself in your own country

Btw:

  • Business customers with a valid VAT number can purchase with VAT reverse charge
  • Individuals always pay including VAT

Documents you will receive:

  • Invoice
  • OREH document (Export declaration) including registration certificate

Export to countries outside the EU


What you need:

  • Valid identification document
  • Foreign address (proof required, such as a bank payment in name)
  • Customs documents (we can arrange)

Transport & export:

  • Motorhero does not provide transport services
  • You arrange the transport yourself
  • Customs clearance in the destination country is your own responsibility

VAT refund:

  • VAT refund is possible with correct proof of export (EX-A document)
  • In some cases, we require a deposit, which you will receive back upon receipt of the proof of export

Documents you will receive:

  • Invoice
  • OREH document (Export declaration) including registration certificate
  • Possible Customs Document (EX-A)

General terms and conditions

Net sales export

For the export of certain vehicles, we can offer the vehicle at a net amount.

How does it work?

  1. You are temporarily paying a deposit
  2. After registering the vehicle in your country, please send us a clear photo or scan by email within 10 weeks of the OREH export date:
    • The foreign registration certificate
    • On which all information including chassis number (VIN) is clearly visible
  3. We are submitting a request to the Dutch tax authorities with this information.
  4. As soon as the amount has been approved and refunded by the tax authorities, we will return the deposit to you.

Important: Without a valid foreign registration certificate and approval from the tax authorities, we cannot process a refund.
